What is a Real Estate Agent?

A real estate agent is a person who assists others in selling or buying property. If you want to sell your home through a third party you will go to a real estate agent for help. They would help you decide on a selling price, figuring out what needs to be done to finalize the sale and in general providing guidance throughout the sale.

A Valuable Asset

The real estate agent would also list the home and take care of all the needed paperwork to make sure the sale goes through smoothly. This would apply if you were buying a home. A real estate agent can be a valuable asset when looking for just the right home. They know where schools, shopping centers and hospitals are located and can meet your family’s needs. Real estate agents can provide lists of available homes that will fit your budget. They are the go-between for the buyer and the seller.
